The 57acre park was formally opened in 1830 and was named after the young Princess who was visiting Bath at the time.
The park plays host to some hugely popular outdoor events such as the Bath Flower Show, Bath International Music Festival, the Children’s Festival, Bath Literature Festival and the Bath Film Festival.
When ballooning in Bath, if you are lucky you may drift over another of Bath's famous landmarks, Pulteney Bridge, which is one of only two bridges in Europe built to support shops. The other is in Florence!
