Bristol Balloon Rides

Bailey Balloons offer flights from the best launch sites that are carefully chosen to fly over the beautiful countryside of South West England. Flying from Ashton Court in Bristol Flights, you may fly over the historic harbourside of Bristol, or the Clifton Suspension Bridge designed by Brunel. Bristol is home to the SS Great Britain and Temple Meads, which was also designed by Brunel as well as the stunning St Mary Redcliffe Church and Bristol Cathedral.

Bath Balloon Rides

We also fly from the heart of the beautiful Georgian City, Royal Victoria Park, Bath balloon Flights with its world famous Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and the spectacular Bath Abbey. From here you may fly over wonderful Somerset countryside including many lovely typical English villages such as Lacock, Castle Coombe, the market town of Bradford-on-Avon and the historical stones at Avebury. The Kennet & Avon Canal goes through Bath and has some wonderful tea gardens and pubs along its banks.

South Wales Balloon Rides

From our Llanarth, South Wales launch sites you may fly over the Usk Valley, Brecon Beacons or the spectacular Sugar Loaf Mountain and views of the Cats Back on the Black Mountains. There is also beautiful Wye Valley with its traditional local pubs and the amazing Tintern Abbey. We often fly near the market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth. Other beautiful locations include Raglan Castle, Llanggfd Reservoir, White Castle, Hay-on-Wye, the Blorange and the Kymim. Near the coast Wales has beautiful locations such as Castell Coch near Cardiff and Caerphilly Castle.

Thornbury Launch Site

Thornbury with its beautiful Thornbury Castle, which is one of our launch sites, sits in the valley of the River Severn with views of the two Severn Bridges. Further afield you may also fly over the splendid Mendip Hills, The Chew Valley, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Wookey Hole or Wells Cathedral. Westonbirt Arboretum is especially spectacular in the Autumn but lovely at any time of year. It is also near to Badminton which is famous for the Badminton Horse Trials.
