Update 8th November 2020.

Since August we’ve had a DfT (Department for Transport) Exemption which allows us to operate our passenger balloons (with passengers wearing the obligatory face masks, using copious hand sanitiser, and with all of our balloon equipment and vehicles disinfected between flights!).

We have been on a course on Infection Prevention & Control and obtained a highly rated AA Covid Accreditation Award as well as the Visit England Good to Go Award for all of our safety protocols and Risk Assessments.

However, as we now enter another (hopefully short!) period of lockdown, we cannot fly until after the 4th of December. If you wish to fly on a specific date in one. of our small exclusive balloons during December or January please contact our office team to discuss the arrangements and we’ll be happy to help.

We managed to fly right up until the 2nd lockdown – the 4th of November – and look forward to some more frosty winter’s day flights in the coming months to fly our small exclusive balloons.

What will happen to my vouchers and expiry date if I wish to delay my flight?

We are keen to ensure you are not missing out due to the impact of Coivd-19 so  if your vouchers have recently expired, or are about to, we will extend your flight vouchers into the 2021 flying season. In addition some passengers have asked whether they could delay their flights until next year because they are still shielding themselves (or family) or simply feel anxious about being with others at this time, and we are happy to extend the vouchers until 2021 in these cases.

Can I book my flight date?

Our shared passenger balloons will resume flying in April 2021 when the new season resumes as normal. We are looking to fly our small exclusive passengers over the Winter, lockdown and weather permitting!

Buying a new voucher?

Our vouchers are valid for a year from the date of purchase and we will resume flying our shared passenger balloons in April 2021 as normal. If we do enter another lockdown during the flying season then we will extend vouchers for the period of time that we are unable to fly, as we did this year.
