Thank you for a lovely photograph of us all in the Bailey Balloons basket!
 
We all had a brilliant morning and it was well worth the wait. You had to post-pone a couple of times due to bad weather conditions but you obviously take good care to ensure that on the day your guests actually fly they have the best time possible.
 
For our flight, with my teenage children, we were all keen out of bed at 5.00am to meet you and the crew at Ashton Court promptly at 6.00am! It was a surprise to see how large the envelope actually was close up and great that all the guests were encouraged to assist in the preparations for the flight.
 
Not all of the guests were as “young” as us and you and your crew took extremely good care of the two pensioners bravely taking their first ever balloon flights in their mi-eighties – this proving that this truly is an ideal gift for anyone, any age.
 
The flight itself has given us great photographs and memories of the views over Ashton Court, looking across to the City Ground, Bristol Suspension Bridge and the Downs areas was fantastic! It was particularly nice for me personally that the wind took us towards Ham Green/Pill area – we flew over abbots pool which brought back some childhood memories of picnics there when I was probably about 10! We also saw wild deer and rather bizarrely people sleeping outside in their garden at 6.30am!!
 
The wind was very light and as we travelled gracefully over the fields any fears of height were easily forgotten – the basket didn’t even creak. The landing in the farm that you store some of your balloons in was great, we braced ourselves but the landing was absolutely perfect.
 
We all enjoyed helping to bring the balloon down and I hope you liked the extra pictures that we sent of our landing.
 
Finally the glasses of champagne after all the hard work was done was lovely – you and your crew made it an experience that we shall not forget!

We had a few cancelation due to weather but when we did fly it was wonderful, Clive was great, its something you have to do!

 I wanted to forward our huge thanks for the Balloon flight on Friday evening, 13th June. Clive was the 'life and soul' of the group and managed to gee us and the team along with his enthusiasm. We both felt that this enthusiasm was catching and 'went along for the ride'. Well the crew were all welcoming, Ed and Liz were great and took time to chat and spend time with us all. There was a point where we wondered if it was a bit touch and go if we would be cancelled but luckily for us it was third time lucky. The big black cloud scuttled off to the horizon and the sun shone down on us. Up we went and well it was fantastic, there was really nothing in the world like it and we can see where the team get all their enthusiasm from. It's such a buzz and if I’d taken a moment to savour it rather than racing off at ten to the dozen then I’d have enjoyed a bit more of the peace and tranquillity you get from floating by going where the breeze takes you. I think that we were particularly lucky on that evening, and with our skilled pilot Clive carefully manoeuvring us past each potential landing site where we'd just missed the corner of the field. I expect a few of us in the basket had our fingers crossed that we would carry on and we did. The landing just on the edge of Timsbury was textbook and the adventure didn't stop there. The cold set in but we were able to warm ourselves helping to pack up the balloon and then the champagne gave that extra little glow to our cheeks. A very late evening but one we're going to enjoy recounting for many more years to come. We're saving up, as we speak, for our next flight and maybe we'll enquire about joining the team! Thank you again, so very much, it was a birthday present for my husband to remember.

I am writing to you to say how much my family and I enjoyed our recent flight in one of your balloons. We took off from Royal Victoria Park, Bath on Friday August 4 and landed just a few miles from our home, near the Nestles Factory in Staverton. Before the start of our flight I was extremely nervous but the superb views and peaceful environment in the balloon made me forget my jitters! The assistance we received from our pilot Lee and his two helpers was superb and we would like to extend our thanks to them for making it such a special occasion. We all agree that we would like to repeat the experience again one day soon.
