Without our hot air balloon crew we would not be able to fly our balloons! They are an essential part of hot air ballooning!
Here are some of our ground crew with Carol Kirkwood, weather presenter for BBC Breakfast.
The crew role includes:
Welcoming the passengers,
Helping set up the balloon
Following the balloon while it flies
Hopefully being there on landing!
Packing the balloon away
Serving Chilled Champagne
Bringing passengers back to the launch site
Helping to refuel the balloons
It can be very hard work and sometimes the passengers will help as well!
Also having a great sense of humour is essential!
