In Bristol we are lucky to have a few fabulous bridges close by we regularly flying past in our hot air balloons!
Of course there is Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge.
We also have The Severn Closing and Second Seven Crossing Bridges. Occasionally we can fly our hot iar balloons from North Bristol over to South Wales, perhaps landing at Lydney or somewhere close by.
Since 1966 there has been a road across the River Severn so people can cross between Wales and England. As the amount of traffic increased, the original Crossing couldn’t cope with the extra traffic so work on a new Crossing began in 1992, and the Second Severn Crossing was opened in 1996.
