At 7.10 pm tonight Clive Bailey & Paul Spellward in their gas balloon Lady Britannia landed in near Stenay in a forest in France, due to bad weather looking at coming in close proximity and not being able to cross Paris at low level at night. They have had an a difficult flight due to the very unstable weather. Some of the balloons were hit by severe turbulence and Clive and Paul’s balloon was buffeted around by the winds. Disappointing but they are down safe and sound which is the most important thing…thank you so much for all your support – they really, really appreciated it.
