Clive Bailey flew John Sargeant in the BBC One Show Balloon over the Badges of Honour which were carved by soldiers in the First World War into the hillside.
These amazing testimonial badges were made by the soldiers at Fovant in Wiltshire to serve as an memorial to the comrades who didn’t return home.
Some of the badges are as big as half a football pitch and are made from chalk. What better way than seeing them from the air! The programme was broadcast on 6th November 2013 at 7.00 pm on BBC 1.
