The hot air balloon bearing the logo and colours of RE/MAX ranks among the most instantly recognised corporate balloons. This October, it celebrated its 35th year in the air with a number of fantastic balloon flights at various locations across the globe.
The balloon, which is famous for colours reminiscent of the American flag, was first flown at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta back in 1978, when the owner of RE/MAX decided that a hot air balloon would make for an excellent piece of advertising in the state of New Mexico. The balloon would later go on to make appearances in RE/Max’s TV advertisements in the States, before being taken on as the official logo of the company.
At present, there is a whole fleet of RE/MAX balloons that makes appearances across the United States. In fact, the company’s fleet is the biggest of its kind in the world, and is much loved by people in more than 26 countries across the globe.
Speaking of the RE/MAX balloons, Laura Ortoleva, who is a spokesperson for the company, said:

The company’s agents work in more than 6,000 offices all over the world. The RE/MAX hot air balloons will continue to fly at festivals and fundraisers, in the US and beyond, for the foreseeable future.
