2016 Half Term Activities in Bristol & Bath

02/02/2016 Jo Bailey News

The schools are about to break up for the first half term of the year, and we’ve rounded up a few great family activity ideas and things to do in Bristol and Bath this February:

Bristol

Windmill Hill City Farm in Bedminster are organising a kids’ woodland fire and bread making session on Tuesday 9th February, Mud play in the Wildlife Area on Wednesday 10th February and outdoor pizza making on Thursday 11th February

If you are looking for something indoors, then Bristol Aquarium has a    Mermaids and Monsters event running throughout the February half term

Bath and Surrounding Area

The Roman Baths organise family-friendly activities throughout the year, including kids’ activity trails and the chance to meet real costumed characters.

Longleat safari park in Wiltshire is located between Bath and Salisbury and offers a brilliant family day out, and is open throughout the half term break

The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare. Open throughout the half term, with an open cockpit day on 14th February where you can see how real helicopter controls work!

Something Different?

If you’re looking for something different, a hot air balloon ride with Bailey Balloons makes a great family adventure, and anyone over the age of 7 years old can fly with us. Flights with Bailey Balloons take place from March 2016 in Bristol, Bath and South Wales. Flights include Champagne or Orange Juice on landing, everyone gets a personalised flight certificate and you can even purchase in flight photographs to commemorate this family adventure.

If you would like to visit us to talk about balloon flights during the half term, we will be at the Ashton Court Mansion Wedding Showcase on Sunday 14th February between 11am and 3pm.  Or you can call or email us on 01275 375300, info@baileyballoons.co.uk
