Winter is finally over, and Spring officially begins this month! We can all look forward to longer days and increasingly better weather, and with this comes the start of the Hot Air Balloon flying season.
Although the shorter days and weather conditions usually restrict us from doing much flying over the winter months, the Bailey Balloons team have been busy at work preparing for the start of the new season, and we can’t wait to get flying again. We have good availability on our Champagne Hot Air Balloon flights across Bristol, Bath and South Wales, whilst our sister company Aerosaurus Balloons is preparing to begin flying across the South West.
There are many ways to explore the stunning countryside surrounding Bristol and Bath as Springtime begins to emerge, try taking a stroll along the Bristol and Bath Railway Path to kick-start your outdoor activities this year. Spring is also a lovely time of year to visit Raglan Castle and the beautiful surrounding countryside, which is less than 5 miles away from our balloon flight meeting point in Llanarth, South Wales.
If you’d like to try something different, then ballooning is the perfect, gentle outdoor activity to welcome in the new season and blow away the Winter cobwebs, and the Springtime is a beautiful time of year to go flying. Hot air balloon passengers will be able to watch the signs of Spring emerge across Bristol, Bath and South Wales, whilst floating peacefully above iconic landmarks, gorgeous countryside and quintessential English villages.
