After what has been an undeniably challenging year for the hot air balloon industry and its fans, the Easy Event Group were delighted to welcome socially distanced hot air balloon glows to its end-of-year Space Coast Daily Balloon Glow Hot Air Balloon Festival.
The festival took place from December 11 to 13 in Viera, Florida at the Space Coast Daily Park, which frequently hosts outdoor events and festivals and is home to a classic fun fair and amusement arcade.
This year, the balloon glow featured the usual array of oddly shaped balloons, including a snowman and some famous cartoon characters like Tweety Pie and Sylvester the cat. As the sun went down, dozens of colourful orbs switched on their flames to light up the night sky with a traditional balloon glow, delighting the visitors of all ages who came to the event.
Guests were also able to make the most of tethered rides to get a sense of what a hot air balloon adventure might be like, and enjoyed the live bands that performed at the three-day event.
Organisers were able to make sure that guests were able to make the most of this outdoor event safely by promoting the use of good hygiene measures.
Many would agree there is nothing like a hot air balloon adventure to lift the spirits. In the UK, there are spectacular hot air balloon flights over Bath, Bristol and other parts of the southwest available.
