Three things to do in Bath in February

20/01/2017 philip Tourism

Whether you live in Bath, or you are simply planning a visit to the beautiful World Heritage Site this February, you will find no shortage of places to go and things to see. Why not let us help you decide which events to visit by taking a look at the following three fun things to do in Bath this February?

Try your hand at calligraphy

If you happen to be in Bath between 4th and 5th February, and you want to try your hand at a traditional Japanese activity, why not pop along to The Foodie Bugle Shop, where you can buy tickets for a unique calligraphy course. It will teach you everything you need to know about the ancient art of penmanship.

History through a lens

Taking place at the Victoria Art Gallery, a building which will be instantly recognisable to anyone who has been on a hot air ballooning experience in Bath due to its grand Victorian design, is the History Through a Lens exhibition.

The event will be a showcase of iconic images and the power they have over us. If you have an interest in world events, or the visual image, this exhibition will be a must see. You can catch it any time between 25th February and 10th May.

Bath Artisan Market

Bath Artisan Market takes place on the second Sunday of each month, and it is a great place to visit, soak up the beautiful atmosphere of Bath and pick up some handcrafted treats, including homemade cakes, beads and textiles.

If you’re planning a trip to Bath later in the year, why not take a Balloon Ride from Royal Victoria Park?! With its stunning Georgian architecture Bath is an excellent City to see from above. Prices start from just £110 per person!
