Clive, Jo and the team had a great day at Ashton Court on Sunday with the Belvoir Balloon taking part in a special episode for the BBC television programme Countryfile – the Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children In Need.

The Belvoir balloon along with a few other local Bristol balloons were tethered in the grounds of Ashton Court which was the finish line for the ramble in which presenter Adam Henson lead up to 1200 people for a walk through Bristol.

It was a bit of a windy day so the balloons couldn’t leave the ground but they stayed inflated for around 2 hours as people made their way back to Ashton Court.  Balloons are an iconic part of Bristol so it was great that we could help out and have them there for such an important charity event.

The Bailey Balloons team had a wonderful time meeting lots of different families who took part in the Ramble and have been helped by the charity.  Other rambles took place across the UK in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Dartmoor.

The programme is due to air in November so keep an eye out for us!
