Christmas Light Switch-Ons
Believe it or not, Christmas is only seven weeks away! Festive ads have started playing on the TV and the time for Christmas gift shopping has started. To get the festive season well underway we have picked some of the best Christmas light switch-ons happening over the next few weeks.
Clifton Village Christmas Lights Switch On
Clifton Village will be switching on their Christmas Lights on Wednesday 9th November and it promises to be a magical place to shop, dine and relax this Christmas. Taking centre stage will be a 50ft Christmas tree in the Mall Gardens plus fairy lights and over 100 smaller Christmas trees on many of the shops. The fun begins at 5.30pm with carol singing and musical performances. This is followed by the big switch on at 6:30pm.
The Mall Cribbs Causeway Christmas Lights Switch On
On Thursday 10th November, All Saints will be headlining The Mall’s Christmas Charity Concert, all in aid of BBC Children In Need. The band, who will be supported by Jake Quickenden, will perform their greatest hits and have the all important job of switching on the Christmas lights!
Cabot Circus Christmas Lights Switch On
Expect a fun filled evening at this year’s Cabot Circus Christmas light switch on which takes place on Friday 11th November starting at 5pm. This year Vocal Works Gospel Choir will perform on the Cabot Circus stage, joined by a band of spectacular LED drummers dressed in glow in the dark outfits. Lumina Duel will also be performing, promising a fusion of light and music, playing their violins with a laser beam! To finish it all off, at 6:15pm the Christmas Lights will be switched on.
Southgate Bath Christmas Light Switch On
Southgate Bath will be switching on their Christmas lights on Wednesday 16th November. The action starts from 4pm with a festive lantern parade from local primary schools, followed by the main switch on with Santa himself taking some time out of his busy schedule to do the honours this year!
St Nicholas Market Christmas Lights Switch On
St Nicholas Market is seeing in the festive season with their Christmas light switch on which takes place on Saturday 19th November 2016 at 5:30pm. There will be live music in the Glass Arcade, delicious food, children’s arts and crafts, roasted chestnuts and mulled wine! There will also be an array of gifts so you can get your Christmas Shopping well and truly started.
